Following its decision in July to create a Northeast Florida division, PulteGroup will establish an office in Jacksonville to house the division’s more than 100 employees.

Pulte is leasing 15,000 square feet at 12724 Gran Bay Parkway in Flagler Center.

Division President Tony Nason said half of its Northeast Florida employees will use the office, while the other half works in the field.

The space will house its design center, PulteMortgage and PGPTitle companies. Land development, construction, finance, purchasing, marketing and administration employees will work in the office.

Nason said establishing a Northeast Florida division, along with nearly doubling its employee count over the past year and a half, contributed to the decision to open an office in Jacksonville.

“Having everyone in one location, it will be better for the employees and the customer experience by having a full design center experience, closing their home at the same location and being able to meet on-site with our mortgage team,” Nason said.

Pulte plans to open the office in spring 2022.

The homebuilder is developing Bradley Pond in North Jacksonville, The Trails at Grand Oaks and the Villages of Valencia in St. Augustine.

It soon will begin selling homes at Timber Cove and Hidden Bluff in Jacksonville, Bannon Lakes in St. Johns County and Bradley Creek in Clay County.

Nason said he chose the Flagler Center location because it is the most convenient for employees and is centrally located among developments.

Although plans for a return to the office aren’t clear, Nason said the office will be built so that every employee has a workspace.
