• The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra opens its three-concert 2002 Winn-Dixie Starry Nights at Metropolitan Park Saturday with The Pointer Sisters. • Firehouse Subs is holding its annual doubles tournament May 17-19 to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. For the first time, women will be able to enter the tournament. The ladies match will be held at Williams Family YMCA. The men’s is at Deerwood Golf & Country Club. The matches begin at 8:30 a.m. daily. To play, applications are available at Firehouse, or call Kristen at 886-8300. The deadline is 5 p.m. May 15 and the fee is $40 for person.
