The Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville recently celebrated the first anniversary of its new facility on the Southbank. “We’ve been so pleased that we have been able to serve more than double the number of families that were able to serve before,” said Joy Hardaker, executive director. In August, 79 families stayed at the house. Ronald McDonald House will host the Senior Touring Pros Celebrity Golf Classic Jan. 6 at Timuquana Country Club. All proceeds from the tournament benefit the house.
