Schultz Foster Addison Real Estate, Inc. is now Addison Commercial Real Estate, Inc.

Grafton “Duke” Addison, who served as the president of Schultz Foster Addison, recently obtained ownership of the company from shareholders John R. Schultz and Scott R. Foster.

“I learned a great deal from both men and remain grateful for the opportunity to have been their business partner,” said Addison. “I wish them all the best.”

Schultz, who owns a construction company, will continue to work there, while Foster will concentrate on his own ventures.

Addison Commercial Real Estate will maintain its office on West Adams Street and the same phone number, making it an easy transition for Addison.

“The most important factor to me in this acquisition is that I was able to keep my staff and client and customer base,” said Addison, who joined Schultz Properties, Inc. in 1993, and with Schultz and Foster formed Schultz Foster Addison Real Estate, Inc. in 1996.

In addition to the existing team, Addison has hired one new agent and is looking to hire two more.

Addison Commercial will offer a range of real estate services, including leasing, sales, property management, tenant and landlord representation, site selection, development and consulting. Addison said he is looking forward to new challenges the company will face.

“I’m moving forward during a dynamic growth period for our great city,” he said.
