The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville has added to its staff. Doreen O’Toole, formerly the educational outreach coordinator at WJCT, is their new education director. Amy Palmer, also from WJCT, is the Council’s new grants manager.
The Haskell Company promoted David Kode to architect in the industrial group, Linda DeLeo to project manager in its civil group and Kevin Vider to project manager in the institutional/commercial group. New employees are Bob Randall, who will be director of project development in the transportation division, and Brian Tellier, director of construction in the industrial group.
Tim Orr has been promoted to vice president at Harden and Associates. He previously was an account executive in the Commercial Insurance Division.
Jo Maloney, formerly of St. Vincent’s Foundation, has joined PRI Productions as administrator and will work with long range planning and selected clients.
Honors at UNF: Elizabeth Lane Furdell has been named the university’s Distinguished Professor. She’s directed the History Department’s freshman course and found time to write three books. Runner-up was Iver Iverson, and faculty scholarship awards went to Thomas Barton, David Courtwright and Linda Foley. Faculty service awards were given to Ray Bowman, Paul Mason and Lucy Trice. Outstanding undergraduate teaching awards went to Sharon Cobb, Daniel Dreibelbis, Roger Eggin, Edward Johnson, Hans Koegler, Kristine Webb and Pamela Zeiser.
