Over 1,000 attended the annual Northeast Florida Builders Association Charity Gala in October at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall. The event raised $115,450.
“This is our main fundraiser for charity. Our association has been an outstanding member of this community for over 58 years and the money raised from the Gala allows us to continue our good work in the community,” said NEFBA President Denise Wallace.
This year’s theme, “NEFBA on Safari,” was something different. Gala goers showed up in wide range of “elegant safari attire” to black tie, suits and casual business attire.
This year’s charities were Builders Care and the Catty Shack Wild Animal Ranch.
