Archibald J. Thomas III, of Jacksonville was selected president of the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association at its annual meeting in St. Petersburg. The National Employment Lawyers Association is comprised of attorneys who primarily represent employees in labor and employment related matters. Florida NELA is also active in legislative issues and in the filing of amicus briefs in cases involving significant employment issues in state and federal courts.
Thomas is board certified by the Florida Bar in the area of Labor and Employment Law and has recently been appointed by the president of the Florida Bar to a three-year term as a member of the Labor and Employment Law Certification Committee.
