The Realtor Builder Trade Show and Luncheon is here again and this year it should be larger than last.

“Initial estimates shows about 500 plus industry executives will be in attendance at this year’s event,” said Jim DelVecchio, president of the Northeast Florida Builders Association’s Sales and Marketing Council.

The event will be Sept. 26 starting at 10 a.m. at the Osborn Center in downtown Jacksonville.

“We are expecting the best event ever,” said Mike Taylor of Hines, the co-chair of the event again. “We expect record attendance at the luncheon and about 60 booths at the new homes networking event.”

This year Maxine McBride of Clockwork Marketing is co-chairing the event with Taylor.

After the networking event, a luncheon will be held at noon featuring speaker Alf Nucifora, a columnist, nationally known author, speaker and radio show host.

Taylor said he learned a few things after chairing last year’s event.

He said you need to establish a committee, develop a plan early and select a great speaker that everyone will enjoy.

The theme this year is “Riding the Wave,” a follow-up to last year’s theme of “Catch the Wave.”

“Last year we heard about catching the wave, this year we are going to learn how to ride the wave,” said Taylor.
