“I work with real estate agents, builders and real estate investors to help them or their customers obtain financing.”
HOW DID YOU GET INTO LENDING?
“I was a suit salesman and several of my customers were mortgage lenders with Community Mortgage Corporation. They were looking for someone to bring in, train, learn about the business and move up in the company. I was in the right place at the right time.”
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT LENDING?
“I love my freedom. I have the freedom to work my own schedule and work closely with my customers with a style that benefits both of us. I work nights and weekends, but have time to do what I want during the week. I also like to socialize with the real estate agents and builders as well.”
BEFORE CURRENT COMPANY?
He was with Fidelity National Mortgage, where Ben Bishop, (currently senior vice president of CNB National Bank) was president. “When Ben left to head up the mortgage banking division of CNB, he brought me with him.”
WHERE IS YOUR COMPANY LOCATED?
On the corner of Gate Parkway and Southside Boulevard.
WHAT IS MONTHLY LOAN PRODUCTION THAT YOUR COMPANY DOES IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA?
About $12 million a month.
HOW MANY ARE ON YOUR STAFF?
Twenty-one which consists of 11 loan officers, three processors, two closers, two post-closers, one underwriter, one construction loan administrator and one marketing representative.

“We can do it all. We have access to do Federal Housing Administration, Veteran’s Administration, conforming conventional and portfolio lending. We also specialize in construction permanent lending.”
HOW DO YOU PROMOTE YOUR COMPANY?
“Our job as an originator is to promote the company so we do it through advertising, networking with real estate agents, builders and past and present customers.

He plays a lot of golf, likes to travel and enjoys going out on his boat with his family for water skiing, fishing or just cruising.

His favorite movie is “Jerry Maguire”. He reads a lot of history books and is currently reading “Stories in His Own Hand: The Everyday Wisdom of Ronald Reagan” by Ronald Reagan. When relaxing at home, you can find him tuning into baseball and other sporting events. When dining out, he enjoys Carrabba’s Italian Grill. “I travel all over, but we like to go to national parks including Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.”
