The University of North Florida’s Pre-Law Program held its advisory board meeting Wednesday. State Rep. Dick Kravitz spoke to students, faculty and members of the legal community about his stance for victim’s rights. He also discussed the challenges he faced at the beginning of his term last year because of reapportionment and the Sept. 11 attacks. This fall, the school will co-sponsor a Pre-Law Day, similar to a career fair, with State Attorney Harry Shorstein scheduled to speak. The Pre-Law group also is scheduled to meet Wednesday night to organize mock trials for students wishing to enter the field of law. Volunteers are requested.
