The Chamber’s 2003 board includes a new slot: a Super Bowl member.
“It’s a major event which will have a major impact on the community,” said 2003 chair Jim McCollum of BellSouth, “and we felt it was necessary to have a person who is responsible for coordination.”
The Super Bowl At-Large member will be Robert Helms of First Union Wachovia, one of three bankers on the new board. The others are Mac Holley of the Bank of America, who will oversee the Cornerstone program, and Bob White of Compass Bank, who will chair the business recruitment area.
Already announced in the leadership were McCollum, chairman-elect Barry Allred of Elkins Constructors, and attorney Lynn Pappas, the outgoing chair.

Kay Redington, most recently with Brooks Health, Marketing and

John Harrison, investor, small business.
Steve Halverson of The Haskell Company, Education and Workforce Development.
Cheryl Riddick of Citibank, Existing Business Department.
Michael Huyghue of Axcess Entertainment, International Department.
Philip Green of WB17, Area Councils.
