St. Vincent’s held a ground breaking ceremony for its new Family Medicine Center Friday morning. St. Vincent’s officials, board members and faculty broke ground at the site, located across from St. Vincent’s at the corner of Riverside Avenue and King Street. The new building will be three stories and cover around 45,000 square feet — an increase from the 18,000 square feet in the Family Medicine Center’s existing location. It will serve as the new home for St. Vincent’s Family Practice Residency Program and is scheduled to be complete by the summer of 2004.
