Lori Bolen, president of the Jacksonville Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, and Dana Welcker of Wicker, Smith, O’Hara, McCoy, Graham & Ford attended the JCALA’s monthly educational meeting Tuesday at the law firm of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae. This month’s speaker was Andy Carroll, an agent coordinator with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida, who presented a program on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and how legal administrators will be affected by the laws.
