Construction on the Klutho building in Springfield is almost complete. FreshMinistries, which is heading the revitalization project, is considering using the building as its headquarters for a new center for urban ministries. Service-oriented businesses may be added to help bolster the neighborhood’s economy. FreshMinistries anticipates finishing the former Main Street apartment complex by December. Now that the organization has completed work on its Beaver Street Business Incubator, the focus has shifted to finishing the Klutho project, which includes mostly interior work such as painting and installing sheet rock.
