Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida and the Jacksonville Jaguars presented two Community Champion Awards Tuesday afternoon at Alltel Stadium. The award is given annually to one BCBS employee and one Jaguars player who donate their time to local charities. Each winner designates a charity of his or her choice to receive a $2,500 check. BCBS employee Judy Ellis received an award for her work with the Department of Children and Families and Jaguars linebacker Akin Ayodele was honored for his work with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
