The Northeast Florida Association of Realtors installed its new officers last month during a black and white ball held at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown.

The event was attended by over 240 REALTORS® and affiliates.

Red feathered boas were handed out at the door for the women to accessorize their black and white attire.

The room was decorated with a black and white movie era theme complete with classic movie posters. Melanie Green, communications director for NEFAR, said the red feathered boas were the hit of the evening and that everyone—men, women and event the waiters—were requesting to wear one.

“We are ready to have a good time,” said Selby Kaiser of Prudential Network Realty who was installed as the 2003 NEFAR president. Others installed were André Boutté of Watson Realty as president-elect, Sam Folds of Sam Folds Realty as treasurer and Linda Sherrer of Prudential Network Realty as secretary.
