The American Heritage Life Insurance Company Building located at 5 W. Adams St. has been sold for $850,000. According to Guy Preston, a senior associate for Colliers Dickinson who represented the seller during the sale, the 20,000 square-foot building will “most likely be used for mixed office and commercial space with all that’s going on down there. But specifically, the buyer — 5 W. Forsyth Street Corporation — did not discuss what it would be for.” Currently, the building, which is located across from the nearly completed 11 E. Forsyth residential complex, is unoccupied.
