The Jacksonville Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) held its quarterly luncheon meeting at The Seminole Club in conjunction with a tour of the newly opened United States Courthouse at Jacksonville. The courthouse tour was hosted by U.S. District Judge Harvey E. Schlesinger (far right). Judge Schlesinger was joined in the court’s ceremonial courtroom by Chapter president Evan Yegelwel (far left) for the induction of new members Edward White (left) and Michael O’Neal (right). New member Michael Seelie was unable to attend. ABOTA is a national organization comprised of an equal number of plaintiff and defense attorneys dedicated to professionalism in the promotion and preservation of the jury trial system.
