The Duval County Legislative Delegation held a public meeting Wednesday afternoon at City Hall, giving members of the medical and insurance professions a chance to express their concerns about recent debates over the rising cost of medical malpractice insurance. “This isn’t a time for debate,” said State Sen. Stephen Wise. “We’re interested in taking facts, but not arguing at this time.” Because of the large turnout, speakers were limited to two minutes.
