The Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association held its monthly luncheon last week at Sterling’s Downtown. Attorney Al Mickler was the guest speaker, addressing consumer protection laws and lawsuits. The next meeting is scheduled for Aug.28. New officers were elected for 2003-04. They are Jacob Brown, president; Mamie L. Davis, vice president; Charles McBurney, secretary; and Lansing J. Roy, chairman. Elected to the board of directors are Eileen Dolaghan, Rehan Khawaja, Edward Jackson, Jodie Spencer, Schuyler Stewart-Smith and David Talbert.
