The residents of Ocean Grande at Serenata Beach are expected to have direct beach access next month. The tunnel will provide residents with direct beach access in addition to that from the community’s private Serenata Beach Club.
The $1.2 million tunnel project, contracted to Jacksonville-based civil and general contractors BGCO, Inc., is being built underneath A1A in South Ponte Vedra Beach.
