A packed floor is always a sign of a good trade show.
If that’s true, the 36th annual Construction Industry Trade Show sponsored by PPW/Dupont Tyvek Weatherization Systems was a great show.
“This has been tremendous,” remarked Mark Berman of GarageTek. “This trade show always provides a lot of energy for both the exhibitors and attendees.”
Over 150 exhibitors were able to meet potential customers and greet longtime clients in the relaxed atmosphere of the Morocco Shrine Center. There was free food, the finals of the annual High School Nail Driving Contest as well as plenty of drawings and giveaways.
“This is always a great show for us. The response of Northeast Florida Builders Association members is overwhelming,” noted Ben Guzzone of Velux.
Both the front and back parking lots were full. Even local media made an appearance. Arthur Crofton and Terry Casey of New Homes and Design TV Showcase were on hand as well as WB17 mascot Michigan J. Frog.
“We travel the country doing shows and we are very impressed with what this one has to offer,” said Dan Whitney of Enlight Research. “There was steady traffic throughout the evening.”
A demonstration of Builders Mall was set up in the dining area. Attendees had a chance to experience the NEFBA Web site and explore the mall.
“I think we made a lasting impression on quite a few people. The Builders Mall continues to grow,” said Dave Reneau of Vision Networks.
