Lakeland man is FHBA president

Mike Hickman, a Lakeland home builder, will be the 2004 president of the Florida Home Builders Association.

Port Charlotte master plumber Tom Thornberry advanced to become FHBA’s Second Vice President, the highest ranking associate member leadership position. Joining Hickman and Thornberry as FHBA Senior Officers are Dan Gilmore, a Pensacola land developer, as First Vice President; Len Tylka, a second-generation builder and developer from West Palm Beach, as Treasurer; John Wiseman, a Naples home builder, as Secretary; Michelle Delaney, an Orlando insurance agent, as Third Vice President; Bill Slavich, a Naples home builder, as Immediate Past President; and Steve Lawson, owner of Knotts Plastering in Naples, as Past Second Vice President.
