Williams in housing Hall

Jacksonville merchandiser Rita Williams was recently inducted into the Florida Housing Hall of Fame.

“Rita’s pride and passion for the home building industry is reflected in her outstanding work and her long-standing dedication,” said Mike Hickman, president of the Florida Home Builders Association. “For more than 20 years, she has contributed her interior merchandising skills to help benefit builders around the country.”

Established 10 years ago, the Florida Housing Hall of Fame honors outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities and Florida’s home building industry. Williams becomes the 43rd person to receive the prestigious honor.

Williams, owner of Rita Williams Merchandising Plus, is a veteran Northeast Florida interior merchandiser. She is a member of the Northeast Florida Builders Associationin Jacksonville, the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
