The City is continuing to re-route utilities as part of the construction of the new Duval County Courthouse complex. The relocation work is expected to be complete by December. It will be constructed block by block to minimize the inconvenience to area businesses.
Beginning Friday at 7 p.m. through Sunday at 7 a.m. Broad Street will be closed from Forsyth to Adams, including the intersection of Broad and Adams. Traffic will be re-routed east on Forsyth Street.
Current street closures include Adams Street between Pearl and Broad streets and Clay Street between Monroe and Adams streets. Only local traffic is allowed on Clay Street from Forsyth to Adams streets.
Pearl Street between Monroe and Adams streets will re-open Friday evening.
