Watson Realty Corp. broke ground for its Middleburg office last month.

The new location is on Blanding Blvd. across from Compass Bank and next door to Bush-Thompson Insurance.

Watson Realty has served Middleburg at its former location for over 10 years.

Constructed by Kur-Star Construction, the 8,000-plus square foot building will feature concrete block and brick construction and offer state-of-the-art technology to better serve its customers.

Among those in attendance were Watson Realty President William A. Watson, Jr.; Vice President and Regional Manager Ed Forman; and IT Director Eddie Roberts.

Others included County Commissioner George Bush; John Kurtz and Jim Pelky of Kur-Star Construction; and John Angus of the Clay County sheriff’s department.
