The boat slips at the Plaza Condominium at Berkman Plaza and Marina — the property formerly known as Berkman Plaza — are now available to the public for lease.
According to a representative from the Atlanta-based Harbour Companies — they were the previous owners of Berkman Plaza and still retain ownership of the townhomes and boat slips — 90 percent of the marina will now be leased to non-residents.
“We’ve gotten a few responses and have started taking a few reservations,” a Harbour Companies representative said. “I’m not sure how many we have left.”
Available in three sizes, the slips will lease from $400 to $600 a month.
Representatives from the Plaza and the Harbour Companies declined comment on why the slips, which had been reserved for the tenants, were now being offered to the public.
