Support courthouse, Moran urges

More than 200 members and guests of The Jacksonville Bar Association packed the Omni last week for the monthly luncheon and a talk by Chief Judge Donald Moran Jr. of the 4th Judicial Circuit. Moran urged his audience to contact members of the City Council to support the new Duval County Courthouse. The day before, the JBA Board of Governors had unanimously approved a resolution in support of the new courthouse. President Jim Moseley Jr. hand-delivered a copy to Mayor John Peyton’s office and to members of City Council.
