Last month’s Amelia Island/Nassau County Association of Realtors meeting drew about 70 members to hear Bob Mearns (left), city manager of Fernandina Beach, give an update on changes in the city’s water and sewer service and how it will affect them.

He said that customer service has been his main focus lately and that he has been sending city employees to customer service training sessions to improve the level of customer service they give to the city residents.

Also during the meeting, scholarship recipient (for the past four years), Carrie Anderson told the group about her accomplishments at the University of North Florida and her plans for the future.
