According to the City’s Public Works Department, streetscape improvements in Five Points are progressing and should shift to the west side of Park Street later this month. North-bound traffic is currently being rerouted. Budgeted at approximately $1 million and funded by the City, JEA and private initiatives, the improvement project — it includes parking, sidewalk and utility upgrades — began in January and is expected to wrap before the end of the year.
