Structural repairs at Memorial Park in Riverside are just days from being finished, according to project engineers.

The $200,000 restoration project started approximately six months ago and includes bulkhead repairs and pavement and brick work.

Bessent, Hammack and Ruckman, Inc. did much of the project planning and execution.

“The project was a true collaboration between BHR, the City of Jacksonville, the Memorial Park Association and (contractors) Intron Technologies,” said Mike Saylor, BHR president. “We approached this project with the focus of restoration, not replacement.”
