North Florida won three Aurora Awards this year. The honors were given out at the Southeastern Building Conference this month in Orlando.

Coppenbarger Homes of Jacksonville won twice, getting Auroras in two categories for a $1 million-plus home in the Country Estate Manor development. The company won for its kitchen and its bath.

Looney Ricks Kiss, a Memphis company, won for the Villas of St. Johns rental community in Jacksonville’s Riverside area.

The Auroras are awarded to companies in Southern states and the biggest award went to a Miami architectural firm, Barry Sugurman Architects, for a residence. He won the Golden Aurora and also the Best in State Aurora.
