This is the eighth year that the PGA Tour has been involved in building homes for families needing assistance through HabiJax, and they just completed the 13th home in North Jacksonville.
Each year, the Tour recruits approximately 100 employees to work on various areas of building the house including framing, windows and siding, painting and landscaping. Since the Tour became involved in HabiJax, over 1,000 employees have given their time in support of this organization.
In 2002, the TOUR built 4 homes and had over 70 volunteers working on all four homes in one day. After the completion of each home, the TOUR presents the families with useful items such as lawnmowers, furniture, linens, appliances, and other household items.
