Lynn Watson (left), a 30-year employee at the tax collector’s office, said his goodbyes Thursday at a ceremony held in his honor. Tax Collector Mike Hogan presented Watson with a certificate honoring his years of service. Earlier this month, the City Council commended Watson for his career, praising him for being a, “loyal employee of the tax collector’s office, representing it well within the office, to other employees within the City Government and to the general public.”
