The Greenleaf building on Laura Street, which is vacant for the first time in 25 years, is drawing some interest, but there’s nothing definite yet regarding a possible sale of new tenants.

“It is my understanding that we are currently working with a lender who will handle all of the offers we receive,” said Foley & Lardner managing partner Charles Hedrick. “Working with one entity will make this entire process much easier.”

Hedrick said some offers have been extended, but was unaware of the interested parties or their intentions.

Foley & Lardner, which owns the building, relocated to Independent Square earlier this year.

Foley partner and City Council vice president Kevin Hyde said the $2.5 million building could be readapted as a boutique hotel or small office building.
