Mayor John Peyton hosted the City’s annual holiday celebration last week at City Hall. The festivities included horse drawn carriage rides around Hemming Plaza, a performance by the St. John River City Band, lots of cookies and other goodies and multiple activities for the children. Santa and Mrs. Claus were on hand to hear gift requests and there was even a special mailbox for letters to go directly to the North Pole.
