Prudential Network Realty founder, President and CEO Linda H. Sherrer was honored by the Arthritis Foundation of Northeast Florida during a recent dedication dinner at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Jacksonville where she received the 2004 Community Leader of the Year Award.
Sherrer is the first woman to receive this award from the organization. She was recognized for her extensive community and civic activities including her involvement with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Jacksonville Branch board of directors, Jacksonville Airport Authority board of directors, Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce board of trustees, Florida Association of Realtors, I.M. Sulzbacher Center and the Jacksonville Women’s Network. Sherrer is also a past commodore of the Epping Forest Yacht Club. In 2005, she will be the president of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors.
The evening is the largest fundraising event for the Arthritis Foundation of Northeast Florida. The monies raised support education, research and quality of life programs to help people in our community with arthritis and rheumatic diseases.
