Jill Leavy, formerly a public relations assistant with the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission’s Film and Television division, has been promoted to communications manager. Leavy, who replaces Christina Langston, started Monday.
“We’re very pleased with Jill,” said Jean Moyer, the JEDC’s chief of communications. “She’s done a wonderful job in Film and Television, and it’s great when you’re able to provide advancement for someone who has done so well.” Leavy is a Michigan State graduate who has worked for several public relations firms in Florida, Rhode Island and Washington, D.C.
