Florida’s Children First! held a reception last week to recognize those who help the non-profit organization protect the legal rights of at-risk children, especially those in Florida’s foster care system. Among those recognized at the reception, held at The University Club, were Mayor John Peyton, Ch.12/25’s Charlene Shirk, Kids ‘N Care Health Center, T-U reporter Paul Pinkham, Roberta Harkey, and Michael and Derrick Dunlavy. Firms and organizations that also received special recognition were Harrell and Johnson; Wayne Hogan and Leslie A. Goller of Brown Terrell Hogan; Milton, Leach, Whitman, D’Andrea, Charek & Milton; Zisser, Robison, Brown, Nowlis & Maciejewski; the University Club; Jay Howell; Spohrer, Wilner, Maxwell & Matthews; and The Florida Times-Union. All proceeds from the reception benefit FCF!
