The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra’s collaboration with the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council was a sold-out success, with nearly 1,100 Girl Scouts and their families attending. The American Carnival concert featured a variety of pre-concert activities. Scouts learned about music, completing requirements for a badge and earning a special JSO patch. Events included the Symphony Guild’s Instrument Zoo, a conducting workshop with Michael Butterman and musicians from the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra Chamber Music program.
