The Jacksonville Jaguars and Parade Magazine honored some of the City’s most dedicated volunteers Tuesday at the 2004 Community Quarterback awards luncheon.The program honors volunteers across the country, donating nearly $1 million to charities in the names of the recognized volunteers. Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver and wife Delores joined players Chris Hanson, Kiwaukee Thomas and Mike Pearson to present grants totaling $20,000 to seven area non–profit organizations. Bob Ware was named the Community Quarterback for 2003 for his work with HabiJax. The group received a $10,000 grant on Ware’s behalf.
