The Statewide Nominating Commission for Judges of Compensation Claims will hold a public hearing Aug. 24 at 9:30 a.m. at the Orlando World Marriott.
The purpose of the hearing is to conduct the interviews of the following applicants for reappointment as judges of Compensation Claims: Dan Turnbull, Alan Kuker, Mary D’Ambrosio, Gerardo Castiello, Donna Remsnyder, Laura Roesch, Joseph Murphy and John Thurman.
There will be no public commentary accepted during the meeting in favor of any of the judges. However, written commentary concerning any applicant by any person is welcome and must be submitted to the Commission chair and a copy to each Commission member. Names and addresses of Commission members are also available from The Florida Bar or Commission chair.
If any person wishes to present public testimony against any of the judges listed at the aforementioned meeting, they must provide the Commission proper notice prior to the meeting in writing.
