Mayor John Peyton, former City Council member Alberta Hipps and representatives from the Jacksonville Equestrian Center announced plans Tuesday for the inaugural Florida Equestrian Celebration.
Scheduled for Nov. 20 and 21, the event will be highlighted by various seminars, demonstrations and workshops related to the equestrian industry.
A concert also has been scheduled with country music artist Chris Ledoux performing.
“I’m delighted we will be hosting the first Equestrian Celebration at the new Jacksonville Equestrian Center,” said Peyton. “It’s a terrific venue and an exciting time for Jacksonville.
“This event, we believe, is just the celebration of many.”
