• JEA CEO Walt Bussells won’t officially retire until August, but he already has at least two trips planned. Bussells said he and his wife will first drive to Colorado and later to Maine. “I’m getting a little nervous though,” he said. “That’s probably going to be the most time my wife and I have spent together in the 27 years we’ve been married.”

• Jag fans now have one less outlet to keep track of their team. Jaguars Inside Report is no longer being published. No word yet on whether another publication will take its place.

• There are now three Harrells associated with Downtown Vision, Inc. Business Development Manager Amy Crockett became Amy Harrell after her June 10 wedding to Trey Harrell in Scotland. He works for Husk Jennings. Mike Harrell is chairman of the DVI board, and Celeste Harrell is a Downtown Ambassador.

• The Royal Netherlands Air Force is considering Cecil Field as a permanent location for flight training. The RNLAF trained at Cecil from January through April, bringing 90 pilots and 400 support personnel to the area. Major General J.H. de Jong told Mayor Peyton in a letter that the training was a “great success.” Bases in Arizona, California, Melbourne, Fla. and Europe are also in the running.

• For those who remember Michelle Bomba’s home-style cooking when she was located in the Seminole Club, she recently re-opened her restaurant at 8560 Beach Blvd.

• Vestcor chair John Rood is the speaker at Monday’s Rotary Club of Jacksonville meeting at the Omni. It begins at noon.

• nGen Works on the Southbank has been selected by the Children’s Museum of Richmond to re-brand its web presence and help with the launch of a new mascot. “nGen Works understood the importance of creating fun experiences on the web,” said Wyndi Carnes, marketing manager for the Children’s Museum of Richmond. “We have a very young audience and it’s critical that our website captures their imagination.”
