Roughly five months after construction began at residential community Villa Riva on Riverside Avenue, property management says sales at the 66-unit tower are at nearly 50 percent.
“We’re really pleased at how well things are going,” said Bryan Webber, the project’s general partner. “Since the start of 2004, we’ve had an enormous boost, which is very encouraging.
“We’re expecting to be completely sold out when we open in 2005, about 14 months from now.”
Webber said a site work on a second Villa Riva development — six riverfront town homes — should begin by mid-summer and finish in tandem with tower construction efforts.
