Ryland Homes has opened an in-house title company in Jacksonville.
Jeff Agar, president of Ryland Homes in the Jacksonville region, said the home builder sold more than 150 homes last year and projects sales of approximately 300 new homes this year - more than enough volume to make an in-house title firm feasible, Agar said.
“By offering our home buyers an alternative to outside title companies, we can reduce their costs and assure that all title work is completed fast and accurately,” said Agar.
Agar named veteran title administrator Marilyn Reese to head the title company. Reese has more than 26 years of experience in the real estate business.
