Dozens of people gathered in the North Jacksonville community of Bonaparte Crossing last month to witness the culmination of the “Give Hope A Home” Project, Classic American Homes’ home construction event that raised $60,000 to help women with breast cancer on the First Coast.
With representatives from Classic American Homes, its vendors and subcontractors, board members of The Donna Hicken Foundation and the media present, President and CEO Paul Axtell handed a check for $60,000 to Ch. 12/25 news anchor Donna Hicken, a two-time breast cancer survivor and founder of the Donna Hicken Foundation.
