Morrison wins multiple Laurels

Morrison Homes and its employees were the proud recipients of several Laurel Awards from the Northeast Florida Builders Association Sales and Marketing Council, including Best Web site (Large Volume Builder) and Sales Manager of the Year for Lori Girton’s unparalleled service with the company.

Morrison Homes Sales Consultant Denise Patricolo was selected as the 2003 Site Agent of the Year. Patricolo, as well as Emily Thompson, Judy Brust, Jennifer Gates, Joy Melton, Sue Fonda and Mary Gaskill also received Million Dollar Circle Awards.

During Girton’s first year of leadership, Morrison Homes exceeded its sales goals by more than 25 percent and achieved a 17 percent growth in sales from 2002 to 2003. Sales figures and revenues were also strong, with revenues totaling over $68 million. Much of Morrison Homes’ success can be attributed to Girton’s recruitment and training programs for her sales team as well as herself.

According to Girton, the biggest honor for her is to see the success and recognition the members of her sales team have achieved. “Our remarkable sales team works so hard and performs with a real passion for what they do,” Girton said. “They make my job rewarding and enjoyable, and they make Morrison Homes a continued success.”

As Site Agent of the Year, Patricolo closed on 34 homes at World Golf Village generating $9 million in revenue for Morrison Homes and making her the top in sales and numbers for Morrison Homes’ Northeast Florida Division.

Morrison Homes’ Million Dollar Circle Award winners collectively achieved more than $36 million in sales for the company.

Visitors to the website are able to print maps and directions as well as request additional information.

Since 1994, the local SMC has hosted the Laurel Awards to honor area sales and marketing professionals for their talents and achievements. Individuals are nominated by their peers and judged by a committee of out of state industry experts.
