Representatives from the I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless unveiled their latest holiday gift card Tuesday morning and announced a special twist to this year’s fundraising campaign.
Illustrated by 12-year-old Dillon Montgomery, a former Sulzbacher guest, everyone who purchases a card will become eligible to win a Toyota Scion.
Montgomery and Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back Kiwaukee Thomas will announce the winner during a special Dec. 31 ceremony at the Landing.
The center hopes to raise 20,000 nights of shelter through the holiday card campaign. A card can be purchased for $11, the amount needed to sponsor one of those nights.
