Tickets are now available for the 2005 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament, which will be held at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
At a press conference at the ballpark Monday afternoon, Michael Sullivan, director of Jacksonville Economic Development Commission’s Sports and Entertainment Board, announced the opening of ticket sales for the tournament and also unveiled the tournament’s logo.
The Sports and Entertainment Board has partnered with the Jacksonville Suns for ticket sales. Tickets for the entire tournament range from $50 to $150 per seat, but general admission seating for individual games will be also be available on game day. The tournament is scheduled for May 23-29.
Jacksonville Suns assistant general manager Kirk Goodman said all ticket sales will be handled though the Suns box office.
“We are looking forward to filling this place up,” said Goodman.
Several representatives from local alumni associations for each ACC school attended, wearing their school colors.
